All around abaya guide
While we highly suggest that you fry clean our garments, it is possible to clean them at home with minimum damage .
Washing your abaya in cold water will ensure it keeps its color and avoid shrinking. If the garment is decorated, hand washing is recommended. Use a mild detergent and wash gently; rinse well and squeeze gently to remove water and prevent excess wrinkling.
Baking soda helps keep the colors vivid. If machine washing, add 1 cup to the wash cycle; for hand washing, add a tablespoon to the washing tub. Baking soda will help remove perfume and stains from the abaya while keeping its color bright.
Hair conditioner is an excellent way to keep the fabric soft and remove body odor. Let soak for at least 10 minutes then rinse in fresh cold water. This will prevent color loss and keep decorations from damage. Use these items separately to avoid damaging your abaya.
